He slyly looked around. Nobody was watching him.
The shiny and secretive steel bin beckoned him with its mystery. What did it hold? Just one peek wouldn't hurt, would it?
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his mother at the counter, ordering pastries. He knew what she would say: " Don't touch anything, Rohan!!!" After all, it was her daily mantra. It was all etched in his brain.
Moving like a cat,he crept swiftly across and lifted the lid.
Screaming, he jumped back ,staring in horror at the jack-in-the-box ,with the sign , "Welcome to our store!"
