Just as I was leaving, I heard it. A tiny voice whimpered, 'We're too late. He's going away!'
There she was, all of six, standing at the water's edge,next to her mom.
The moon said, 'Go ahead, take a few more minutes '.
Beaming, I glowed warmly and set on the dusky horizon.
